Hi, Svetlana,

This is not the time to be fearful.

It may seem counterintuitive. The situation is uncertain. Isn't it the time lay low (and even tolerate things)?

"I'm lucky I have a job. Just taking it one day at a time. Waiting for things to settle down".

The fear is understandable. And it's not necessary and can even be damaging.

Recently, I was inspired by a discussion in a working mom’s group.

Faced with the truth that time is precious and life is short and unpredictable (just like we all have been), these women chose to get inspired to dream and take action.

And so many had amazing breakthroughs and made courageous decisions.

"I want to have more of an impact on my job."

"I stepped down from a stressful leadership position that didn’t fit my priorities. I want to spend more time with my kids."

"I decided to start writing as a side hustle… moved closer to my parents... relocated and moved in with my boyfriend... transitioned to a part-time position at a family-friendly employer and I am also using my master's degree!... negotiated 100% remote working and will be spending 6 months in Mexico with my family.”

There was a wide variety of life decisions and actions.

I am not saying that you should change your job (nor do I say that you shouldn't).

There is no “right” thing to do, only “right for you”. And this is the beauty of it.

What connected all these inspiring cases is that these women took charge, made decisions, and took action.

BOOM! This is empowering! It makes you in control of life.

Instead of saying “I want a change, but I can’t afford it”, they asked, What do I really want and how can I make it happen now? Because if not now, when?”

One of the things that humans are afraid of the most is change, and we've received a strange gift.

The change is upon you, whether you want it or not, the question is will you be in the driver seat or will it happen to you?

It’s all in your perspective...

  • What you focus on - expands! How you look at the situation - determines the future.
  • If you want to be content and happy, remember how to dream now.
  • Don’t let the fear of “what ifs” determine your life. You will regret it later when you look back.

You always have more choices than you realize.

Do you remember how to dream and desire? Now is the time to do it!

With love,
